About the Role
GitLab is hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. You'll build and maintain the systems that power GitLab.com, serving millions of developers worldwide. This is a fully remote position where you'll work with a globally distributed team on Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure at scale.
What You'll Do
- •Manage and improve Kubernetes clusters hosting GitLab.com
- •Build infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible
- •Improve deployment pipelines and release processes
- •Monitor and respond to production incidents
- •Collaborate with development teams on infrastructure needs
- •Document runbooks and operational procedures
What We're Looking For
- •4+ years of DevOps or SRE experience
- •Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- •Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
- •Experience with GCP or AWS cloud platforms
- •Solid Linux systems administration skills
- •Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
