About the Role
Anthropic is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to work on training and deploying large language models. You'll build the infrastructure and tooling that enables our research team to train, evaluate, and serve models at scale. This is a high-impact role at the forefront of AI safety research.
What You'll Do
- •Build and optimize model training pipelines
- •Develop evaluation and benchmarking infrastructure
- •Improve model serving and inference performance
- •Work with researchers to implement novel training techniques
- •Scale distributed training across large GPU clusters
- •Contribute to AI safety research and tooling
What We're Looking For
- •5+ years of ML engineering or related experience
- •Strong Python and PyTorch skills
- •Experience with distributed training and GPU computing
- •Understanding of transformer architectures and LLMs
- •Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- •PhD in ML/CS or equivalent industry experience
